For those who own a chevy volt, are you happy about its reliability and how does it affect your electrical cost for charging at home? If you're on a lease program, was it worth the savings in gas? Any good or bad in the lease and payment process? [ 2016-07-19, 03:58 PM: Message edited by: 50/50 ]

We have a 2014 and the lease is up in April but we are considering getting another one. My fiance uses it to commute to work. Gets about 40 miles on a full charge, which has not affected my electric bill at all but does take like 6 hours to charge. And it gets about 300 miles on a tank which only costs about $20-22 a tank.

Also, just did an oil change in it after a year and 1/2 and it only cost $20.

It's a decent car, but not worth buying without the green hov lane stickers. If you can charge it during offpeak hours you get a discounted pg&e rate.

Doesn't the all electric Ford focus go 120 miles on one charge?
