Saved up enough and finally bought a house. Got the keys yesterday. Its a cool area, next door neighbor builds hotrods, a friend of mine near by autocrosses Corvettes and a bunch of Jeep people in the area as well. House is 1500sqft on 1 acre with HUGE trees, just re-modelled.

Congrats! It's always exciting when you make a huge,life-changing move like that! 1 acre of land...that's a lot of space, but a lot of maintenance too! Any plans of how you're going to utilize that yard?
If I decide to move again, I'm hoping to have atleast 1/2 acre of land so I can build-out a nice shop in the back or make my kids a little dirt track. But if I end up staying in the Bay Area (which is highly likely) it probably won't happen since large lots like that are hard to come by...

Congrats!! My wife and I are looking in loomis but can't find anything under 650k which is 50k over our max budget. The market is definitely up right now.

Thanks everyone.
The process was a pain and still seems to be but I am slowly moving in. Bought a lot of furniture and still need to buy some stuff to upgrade the house but once it's where I want it'll be sik
