Nothing wrong with the 165's. Especially the newer renagade program. They damn near flow as well as the older 185's and will help you down low on the 302. 185's are great heads.... But with stock pistons I'd go with 165's.

Sounds like a good combo. Now just look for a better transmission.

Maybe 185's with 61cc? Chambers? More flow and less compression for your s trim to really push at its potential

165s would work great. Bigger isn't always better.. remember that.
