I'd go gas powered over electric. I used a Subaru one before and it worked great, it had both a pull start and a push button starter switch , very powerful too.

That's what happens when you paint it in your garage with TCP global paint

I purchased the honda one at costco for $300. It has worked great for 3 years, and I use a foam cannon.

I've had the cheap electric 1400psi? one from harbor fright for about 8 years.
works great, cleans parts, cleans stains off driveway, etc. It strips plasti-dip off really easily so I'd say it's fine. The nozzle makes a big difference.
I think it was $75. Would be perfectly fine for a foam cannon. I think most foam cannons work fine off a normal hose anyways.
