Does anyone know what are the best sounding magnaflows out there? I'm running Flowmaster 10s and I'm not getting that nice "race car" sound im looking for... Any ideas?

Thanks! I'm looking for setting quieter, but not so quiet with a deeper tone!

MagnaFlow supposedly flow the best or somewhere up there with the best at wide open throttle, but leave a lot to be desired at idle (unless that's the sound you were going for). They really tone down the sound, even on cammed cars. The idle and low to mid rpms are low and deep and don't sound very racey so they're not the type of muffler that would give a strong first impression.at WOT they are loud as hell but inmho lots of mufflers sound similar when you floor it.basically MagnaFlows are great for flying under the radar. if you want loud, any mufflers (even the stock ones) are quite loud with no cats.
my 89gt has a set of big body magnaflows and was really quiet with the catted midpipe on it. I swapped to an o/r x-pipe I have for a weekend autox just to see how it sounded and it was incredibly loud

I have an x pipe, cam, stroker,3in exhaust,Yadda yadda and no cats. Still not as loud or cool sounding at idle as some of the nice chambered mufflers ive heard [ 2015-08-17, 12:36 PM: Message edited by: MauriSSio ]
