has anyone every smoked or tinted their taillights? I picked up an SRT8 Jeep and I want to darken the taillights but I don't know which route is better.

Nightshade them.
Basically scuff the surface with 1000 grit sandpaper, tape off the lights, place them right next to each other and stray the nightshade back and forth across both lights lightly in clean even swipes. Let dry for a few mins and repeat until desired darkness, Then lightly sand them back and forth across the entire light with 1000 grit sandpaper and throw a couple coats of clear on them, Let dry for a day or so, Then wetsand the clear and polish them.

I know a shop that does them real well. Let me know if u want to go this route.
If u do them yourself take the taillight a off the car so u don't have to tape it off or worry about overspray.
Post pics of the jeep. Congrats on the purchase.

$75 22145 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA 94541 (510) 314-0115
They are across the street from nextgen (mustang shop)
I'm personally not a fan of blacked out lights but they do Good work.
Nice jeep btw I like how the acceleration on those things feel like a roller coaster. [ 2015-06-22, 03:52 PM: Message edited by: 90GT510 ]
