If Batman is the gatekeeper and keeps track of the other heroes in case they go rogue (like getting the piece of kryptonite against Superman) isn't that being a bit of a hypocrite? I mean Batman is basically a vigilante that believes he is above the law so why does he get to pass judgement on Superman if he feels he has too much power?
