I would like to quite down my cobra (first kid on the way). I currently have stock manifolds, bassani 2 cat xpipe and magnaflow bullet style mufflers. Looking for something quiter with no drone. What are good mufflers to replace them with?

Hey Boosted_Drop,
Most inexpensive way would be to just put the Stock H back on. But if spending money is the option I would recommend getting this kit:
http://www.sinistermustang.com/mag-15638.html
Its a much less aggressive tone than the magnapack and will still give you a nice exhaust note paired with a midpipe.
Welding in the same mufflers included in that kit onto your current setup is always an option, as well.
I hope this helps,
thanks

A catted x is the same as a stock h I didn't notice a difference when going from stock to catted x on a fox body

Borla Pro XS mufflers. They are one of the quietest high flowing mufflers made.

Can't go wrong with a turbo style muffler like Magnaflow, etc. Quiet when cruising with no drone and loud when you jump on it

I agree with the pro XS.. theyre not super loud but have a GREAT sound.. its enough to turn heads, but not enough to have cops all over you..

I agree put magna flows on mine years ago & never looked back! when U stay out of it it's quiet enough to keep the cops away but screams when you get on it.

I will look into all mentioned. For me its no problem, i just dont thinks it good to have a new born with quite loud drone at normal crusing speeds 2000-3000rpm

Look into Corsa exhaust for something that doesn't drone, but will scream when you get on it.

I had the Pypes m-80s, and now have the Borla Pro XS mufflers on my fox. Much quieter and excellent quality.
