I agree, the problem that I've seen is that there are so many people that are not actually in need asking for handouts, so everyone becomes numb to the request, no matter if the person asking needs it or not.

Yup. I never give them money, if I can I'll help them out with food but they really need to get to me for me to do that..

When I lived in Hayward, there was a older white dude that would stand in the median at Castro Vally Blvd and Foothill. He had a sign that said something like he was a homeless vet. I used to give him spare change and say hi whenever I got caught at the red light. Then one day I saw him leaving the corner, pull out his iPhone and make a phone call. Needless to say, I quit giving the dude money.

If i give them money they better be a bum fight lol. But yea its sad, nice vid though. I just can't understand being a citizen in this country and being homeless. My friend told me in Tennessee the homeless can't asked for money they need to sell something like news paper.

While this video sends an awesome message, it looks staged. The homeless dude has a pretty well trimmed beard and some pretty clean looking baggage. [ 2014-12-22, 11:21 AM: Message edited by: 06ragtopgt_SOS ]
