I picked up some slicks & was thinking of hitting the track soon.Ive been reading info all over on a few different forums. Lots of people say slicks on oem control arms will yield big time wheel hop. My car is lowered which a lot of other folks say on the 2011+ lowering will cure wheel hop in most cases. I haven't experienced any wheel hop with traction control on or off on street tires.
Anyone here had experience with putting slicks on a stock control arm 2011+?

Was your car lowered while getting wheel hop? Did you do upper & lower control arms?

Does your car have relocation brackets for the lower control arms if so you should be ok depending on setting of the lca on the bracket

You need lca relo brackets to correct geometry if I understand what I've read with out them your lowers are pointed down instead of being straight or up towards the car!

Looks like they both carry control arms, but not the bmr's of course. Any problems with suspension binding running all solid bushing control arms on these new 5.0's? I know on Fox Bodies it can be scary sometimes with the suspension bind.

Just ordered some BMR Rear Lower Control Arms, & an energy suspension shifter bushing. Going to see if I can get my Diablosport Trinity unlocked so I can tune with it when I hit the track.
I'll pull out the passenger seat, rear seats, spare/jack, probably put in some 100 octane. Hoping for some mid 12's, if the shifter improves like most people with the bushing say it will maybe even low 12's on a good launch
