Topic: Thinking about dumping my 04 MC for a Coyote

When I bought my car I was on the fence about buying a 11+ GT, but I decided on the Cobra instead. Now that all is said and done, after numerous repairs and modifications to the Cobra. I'm thinking about getting into a newer GT. They seem like much higher quality, I know they're not the quickest things around but with some minimal modifications they're fast. Instead of dumping 5k into my Cobra right now in a return fuel system, blower swap(again) and retune. Putting the 5k into a down payment on a coyote and selling the Cobra would put me in a good position of paying off the newer gt relatively quick. Given these options, what would be the Cafords decision?

The Coyote cars will be just like any other GT Mustang in a few years, plentiful and cheap. You will kick yourself in the ass every time you remember that you sold a Mystic Cobra for a GT, at least I would.

+1 on the Boss. Hell, Even a new GT is a great car. Terminators are nice but they just have that "been there done that" feel to them now. There are so many nice cars out today: 12/13 Boss, 2010-14 GT500, Upcoming new generation with a whole new line up coming from that. [ 2014-06-11, 11:56 PM: Message edited by: Robb ]

If you're going to give up on a rare bad ass beauty like that, you will need to get something pretty special to fill its shoes. I don't think a GT will cut it. It would have to be a 13 GT500 to fill those shoes.

Do what you feel is best. Who cares if the car is going to be "rare" one day. If you have no love for the car thats all it will ever be another car.
I get Compliments where every I go in my 5.0 I have power and reliabilty all with a warrenty, not a bad thing

The Cobra is nice, but you got to do what feels right to you. If you go new, just take time and pick and choose the right one.

Your "old" car is 10 years newer than mine! I have been driving mine for 19 years now. I would love to have either one of those. The new 5.0's are pretty badass. +2 on Sell the Caddy
