Damn, really? A C5 Z06 is one THE best bang for your buck vehicles out there...if you're serious about driving something. If you just want a street cruiser I can see why you'd whine about it, but for auto cross and road racing it can hang with newer Porsche's and shit out on the track. That 13 year old car will run low 12s bone stock with the right driver.
But what do I know, I should buy a clapped out CA Fords turd for $3k and attempt to polish it one used performance part at a time

I'm not into road racing or autox. 18k for 12's is NOT worth it to me, maybe for someone else it might be. Me personally would rather polish that $3k turd to outrun that vette in any form for 18k total. That's just me though not everyone likes to build up their own cars to their own taste.
