I need a reputable and reasonably priced powder coating company to do the frame on my 65 c10 project. If anybody has any valuable input on the subject I would appreciate it

MAAS Brothers in Livermore. One of the best hands down. They can do it.

Well no I just remember Maas brothers did that. I'll probably end up taking it there. One question. Are powder coating shops still responsible for sand blasting the frame or do I need to do that myself THEN take it

I hope you had that thing strapped down good and had a flag on it..... A Mexican would have stuffed that frame in a Tahoe/Van or set it on top.

James. A majority of shops are going to want to prep the parts themselves anyways.

If you want it done right ,don't go looking for the cheapest price.. Nothing done right is going to be cheap but I'm sure you know that

+1. Quality work doesnt come cheap. This is why legit builds have tens of thousands of dollars into it.

I had a frame on a Corvette powder coated and a subframe powder coated on a first gen. Camaro. One of the Powder coaters powder coated over baked on grease!! I would prep the frame prior to getting it powder coated.

Is the your C10 frame C-channeled? If so do you have any intentions on boxing in the frame or gusseting certain areas for rigidity. Some things to ponder prior to powder coating.
