Yeah its worth it. That car 40 years from now will be worth a lot of money. Def a collector car in the future.....assuming it can last that long not being wreaked or stolen.

+1 how is it only 500. I've seen a stock block boss 302 with a hellion twin turbo kit reach 900hp for half the price of that.

Its only good if you are looking for a drag car to build, why build something when you can buy this. You probably can build a coup for much less and I'll be faster.

What dummies don't understand is horsepower isn't always the key factor in drag racing. Straight 6 bangers and shit with way less horsepower can do times close to single digits. Just gotta build it right

Here is me.....in Treynor's Cobrajet.
Worth it??? YES!!!! If you can't afford it....then NO.
I will say this.....these car are BEASTS out the box. Some guys like to spend a few years building a drag car. And some like to just go out an buy one. This is that option. An 8sec car right off the showroom floor.

Look I understand that but 500rwhp at 8seconds,really? I'm willing to put money that its either underrated or it doesn't run 8's. I'm leaning towards its underrated...

I guess you didn't see Treynor's dyno video of it putting down 800andsomethingRW? 800andsomethingRW plus a light car and a good driver = 8's.

These cars are factory race cars....built for a specific class. "NHRA Stock Eliminator" Attend a National Event like the one at Infineon every July and make an effort to go watch, talk to and look at the cars in Stock and Super Stock. YEARS of time and money go into these cars to get them to run what they run. The HP rating given to these cars is an NHRA number used to factor the cars into specific classes.
I ran this class for years....."Doing More With Less" is my signature. lol
Here are a couple links to help everyone understand the HP rating. And YES, 500HP is WAY underrated for the CJ's and the COPO's as well. Its all about money to the NHRA.... remember that!
