I just looked up the name and they have a website and are from MIT program. It sounds like they are working on it. Shit I'll take one!

I think the technology exist if they have war boats that can hover over land and water at 45mph they can probably develop a skateboard to hover too.

Those hover boats ride on a cushion of air which is pretty simple technology compared to what these hover board guys are pushing. Anti-gravity technology is a whole other animal.

I would be willing to bet we have similar technology. How long do you think smart phone capabilities were around before the release of iPhone 1? A long time. We have some insane technology that we don't get told about until deemed necessary and helpful. The human species has found the god particle for crying out loud. That's insane.
But to the OP, so obviously fake is this video. Lol

That's a bet you would lose. I'm very familiar with high technology of this kind having spent 27 years as an engineer in "high technology" and the last 10 years of it with a Top Secret clearance. I've seen a lot of technology and know a bit about the science behind it and the technology of anti-gravity is nowhere in sight, near or future.
Not even Area 51.

Yeah... Fake.
It's probably a viral marketing campaign to hype an upcoming Back to the Future movie.
We don't have antigravity technology. If we did, we wouldn't be using rockets full of propellants to lift things in to low orbit.
