I'd take the RX7 over the Protege if those were my ONLY two options. I had a friend with a 323 GTX and it was fun as hell, but that drive train in a bucket looking Protege isn't a big selling point for me. The RX7 looks nice, and if you've never driven a rotary before, they're a ton of fun.

I just informed the Protege owner that I can't meet with him today.
As for the rx-7 I'm tempted to trade it bc of the low miles and it seems pretty legit..well for now that is. haha
