Very disturbing but no surprise at all.
Towards the end, the lady was making a lot of sense though which is why get off it?
The government is totally promoting it and encouraging welfare. That's what this administration is about. Such a joke!

Working in a grocery store, my personal favorite is when people buy espresso drinks on EBT.
Does not work on anything hot, but the cold drinks it does. Kind of stupid if you ask me.

I work for a company that deals with a lot of upper middle class to extremely wealthy people. A recent client is an executive for a well know company and his earnings are:
1) 197k salary
2) 25-50k executive bonus
3) 50k rentention bonus, and
4) est. 50k in stock options
Any one of those extra pays or "bonuses" is more than a lot of folks yearly salary, and that's considered middle class.
My whole point is, the extremely wealthy get it good with lucrative bonuses and tax loopholes, and the extremely lazy get it good by not doing a damn thing and still get everything.
So somewhere in the middle, which is most of us, we take most of the burden in terms of total income to getting taxed ratio. We're too proud to just sit on our ass, and not connected enough earn a lucrative salary plus bonuses. Outside of Christmas and department goals, lol.
The middle class is fucked in the U.S., it's like riding Bitch in the back seat.
The trend is that the gap between executives and CEO's income against the average employees income has widened. Also during this same period, more people are relying on resources such as welfare and not looking for work. Why? Because there's not an incentive to work for a low paying job.
My solution is to instill programs that promotes higher wages for the average employee. This way, living off welfare will place you at the bottom of the bottom, and not somewhere close or equal to folks with jobs.
