Mine went in like it was from the factory. I have put in 4 of them and haven't had a problem with any of them. 2 with flaming river racks, 2 with stock power steering racks. I don't put tens of thousands of miles on my car. About 2-3k a year tops. But I have had the wheels up in the air, with the front arms taken the full weight of the car slamming down on to them. And I haven't found 1 crack or any deformation. But if I was turning corners, I wouldn't buy the upr k either.
