The San Diego Chargers have never won a Super Bowl in franchise history, but if the "law of the Philadelphia Eagles home opener" holds, that could change in 2013
What's the law you ask?
Since 2009, the team that Philadelphia plays in its home opener has gone on to win the Super Bowl. Seriously -- and here's a refresher, just in case you need it.

It would be cool to see Steve Smith get a ring. I've liked watching him play over the years. It would be really crazy IF SD won it this year. I'm mean they just scraped by to get in...... But people talked shit when Seattle got in @ 7-9 a few years ago and knocked out the Saints if memory serves me right.
I still kinda feel like Denver is gonna go down. Maybe not against the Chargers, but maybe lose the AFC championship game.

I like steve smith but not this weekend. Last time they played it was a close game and this time the fourty niners will have crabtree and Vernon davis back which makes them a far better team than they were the first time they played and not to mention the fourty niners are the hottest team in football. As far as Denver is concerned I think manning will go back to being pedestrian and struggle in the cold and I see the upset at mile high.

chargers not winning anything rivers gonna choke. but it wont be a surprise if they beat the broncos because payton always choke too, and has history with the chargers since his colts days.
if i had to choose between the two i say broncos, i used to live in SD charger fans made me not like the team even when i knew the team was good.
for the NFC my three picks are the seahawks panthers niners in the NFC championship. guess we find out this weekend which of the 3 going. i have nothing against the niners its more like the fans outside of my family.
