If someone told me to take a picture of cash before he sent me any pictures of the car, i would have acted the same too. It sounds like if anything, you wasted his time and yours! Usually when i sell something, and somebody asks me for pics, i will always send it to them. Even if the deal falls through, because the next day or two that person might come around and buy it. Its just part of being a salesman, be respectful to buyers and you get respect back. People want to feel happy and proud at the end of their purchase no matter what it is.

Most people dont have $2k in cash floating around so you expected the guy to run up to the bank, withdraw $2k to take a picture of so you can take pictures(something you should already have) of the car youre selling?

i vote for too RUDE, lol. if im going to spend 2k on something, i would like to see pictures first especially if i have to make a long drive out. think about it. if you want him to take your word for it then why cant you take his word for it. note that it's 2k firm and you're good. now if the guy shows up with 1500 then you pee on him, case closed .

But I guess it happens sometimes, just slow down a bit and stop playing checkers like the rest of the people out there. You gotta play the game as if it's chess, three moves ahead.

Shoulda said; I run a busy shop and don't have the time or resources to take pictures until maybe after the holidays( even tho I know your Jew, maybe Hanukkah isn't over yet) lol. But your free to come down and check it out. That way if they are serious they'll make the trip.

I don't even look at for sale ads without pictures. If a seller cant take the time to put pictures in the ad I think they are as serious about selling the item as a window shopper purchasing. This all could have been avoided by a proper for sale ad. Some peoples idea of clean are my opinion of a bucket, pics help clarify the situation but dont always tell the whole story.

Just my opinion, good luck with the sale.

yeah interest me! im not openly selling it, show me any add i made to advertise it, i told one person,cause at least the ori guy made the effort to make a want to buy a notch add in the ford sale section. no body else did any thing out of there way to look or purchase this vehicle other than send me some pics comment, therefore the guy i contacted made the first and only effort got my attention. passerbuyers looky loo,s gotta interest me before i just waste my time sending out pics, sometime i get 15 pics request a day on the other 5000 things i am trying to sell. im really not caring too either way if i sell this car or not, i could care less if i sold it, one day i had a itch to maybe sell it, the next day i didnt and then other people that seen the ori post to the real legit guy person looking for what i had, then everybody else started chiming in just wanting pics, i wasn't into it and have dealt with thousands of window shoppers just wanting to see pics to just entertain there fantasy car world. the guy i responded to had a wanted post, nobody else did but they all wanted pics? window looker classic responses, some dumb comments on here for real! until any of u have anything store front or offer anything to the public on a major life supporting way i dont expect u to understand, owning a business and running it,, being swamped running it solely can take a toll and make u a grumpy duncan as well. this was my personnel car not something on the chopping block on craiglist, i never made a add to sell this car, i mentioned it to somebody else that actually made a serious attempt at buying one, and everybody else is entitled to what? funny.
