275 is what I ran before. Pretty wide if you are running them up front. 245-255's are ideal, if you like making proper U-turns.

295/35/18..perfect sized tires for the rear on a x9 wheel in my o2....and a 265/275-35 series up front.. [ 2013-12-10, 11:18 PM: Message edited by: SIC9250 ]

275/35R18 or 275/40R18 is going to be the best fitting tire for that wheel. Anything wider will balloon the sidewall and cause the tire to wear out in the center. [ 2013-12-11, 02:35 PM: Message edited by: Stanced Stang ]

Balloon the sidewall? Hardly....I've ran plenty of 295/35 setups on x9 wheels and they fit great especially pirellis! Got a set on my lady's 2000 ss...x9 zo6 wheels and they look PERFECT..don't fear the width my friend 275s are way to skinny for the rears but great for front setups trust me..
