I recently had a knee injury and pending the mri, my doctor believes it is my mcl and acl that have torn. I was wondering if anyone else have suffered from this injury and what the healing timeline is... [ 2013-11-15, 10:58 PM: Message edited by: 87MclarenMustang ]

I tore my ACL a long time ago playing basketball and didn't want to get it repaired. That was my first mistake. Make sure you get yours repaired or you will be very sorry when you are older. My neighbors daughter had hers fixed and she has normal strength and flexibility now after only 2 months.

ripped both my ACL and MCL on my right knee 6 years ago...it's never been the same but after about 3-4 months, I was 100%...it bothers me every now and then from other activities but it's in working condition...have other small issues here there though
left one tore the MCL...have bursitis...scoped twice...looks like i have 2 knee caps but it is still fine to try and work out with....

I blew out both on a skiing trip. Had surgery. Dr warned me that about 6 mo later I would feel good about it, but it would be at it's weakest. Not sure why, anyway was rough housing with my brother, and POP.... tore it again. Never did go back and am regretting big time.

I've had 2 knee surgeries. A weird bone growth was my first on my left knee and then a tore my mincus on my right and then in 2010 i dislocated my knee cap on my left but i didn't do surgery i just lifted light weights until i could run again and then start running again.

I dislocated my patella and tore some shit by that area ... 2 weeks off my leg and 1 month in a leg brace that didn't let me bend my leg .
