* Any recommended shops in the Bay Area for a AOD to Manual tranny swap?
* Anyone here done it through a shop, how much was the entire job?
I'm thinking about swapping out my tranny without having to look for parts from 10 different places. I just want to drop it off and pick it up.

man i do it right like u would of thought it came that way, and yeah it takes time, beside i just hate working on auto 5.0s trans even if its just to remove them on a lift. pull exhaust, pull the auto tranny, pull starter, pull the auto trans lines, pull auto flywheel, pull auto plate. install manual plate, install flywheel, install clutch, install trans, install starter, install cross member, install correct drive shaft if u want, install exhaust, fill tranny.
inside. pull center console, pull auto shifter. install 5 speed dust boot, install center console, install upper shift handle, remove driver seat, undo all plastic under column, drop steering column, carefully work around wires, remove bolts to pedal assembly, re install new pedal assembly, carefully install clutch pedal safely start switches, all that back together now lol, now remove dash or just cable if u can get to it, swap the hole the speedo cable is coming through the firewall for the clutch cable now, move speedo cable over a couple inches to hole on pass side for new speedo home. computer if need be. am i forgetting something or maybe out of order some how lol, cause i think the price just went up lol! there's much easier work i can be doing for way more money lol wheres sacstangdriver at???? lol id rather have a shell and start from scratch on a full assembly bumper to bumper assembly.
