I'm looking for a fab shop to build a cage onto my existing roll bar or completely build a new cage. Not looking for anything crazy or fancy, just something that will keep me safe. Any recommendations of people/shops that can give me a good deal. This is a BUDGET build that I really don't want to spend a lot of money on ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

TC Design in Milpitas. Go with somebody who has personal experience building and racing road race cars. He is very reasonably priced.

Thanks Tim. I've heard a lot of good things about them but I assumed they were pretty pricey. I'll give them a call and see what they can do.

I can do it but i can not at the moment bend a perfect main hoop nor do i wana practice on anybody's car. I would be more than happy to weld in a kit of a decent company, if your interior is already out of the car. if u want a super nice custom built cage for the best bang for your buck call my buddy crick 707 655 3610. ur prob gona have to leave a messages as he does all the fab work including the super high end cage work done at cortex racing. I think he had some special for under a grand for a tandem spec cage for under a grand, its a fully dom tubing cage that is a 6 point legal in every class of serious racing, all custom hand bent and with in millimeters of being perfect fitment. he really does do 20 thousand plus cages in the newer shellby and gt 500 hundred 2013 an 14 mustangs as we speak. I cant tell enough how gd and detailed his work is. u might just have to wait for a bit to be scheduled in cause he does the side work at his house and hes like at least a month booked busy all the time. best super bang for ur cheap buck. his work is not cheap by any means.

Maier Racing in Hayward has lots of experience building and racing Mustangs. He has done a couple very nice roll bars and cages for friends of mine that were of great quality and within the budget. Definitely worth a call.
