Looks like it coulda blown the head gasket or cracked the head first , then when it was swapping combustion is probably why the block burned out like that. Kinda like when you get a burned exhaust valve , when the compression finds a small passage way to go past it gets superheated and starts eroding the metal.. Then two weeks later the whole car started shaking on my way back from Modesto. Got lucky I made it back. I think the heat and the stop and go traffic in LA did it. It was over 100 and stuck in traffic for 3hrs. I thought it was just a lifter.
