It's Just Got A Little 235 6 Cylinder With A 3 On The Tree.IVe Got An Old 5.0 Laying Around And I'm Throwing Around The Idea Of Dropping That In With A 5 Or 6 Speed..But I'd Like To Bag It And Chop The Top Too.

I know it's your project and everything but I would love to see a old car like that get a real new heart! Affordability is key and I don't know your pocket books but that would be so cool with a dohc ford motor. Really show it off ya know not just a run of the mill 500 dollar 5.0 motor. It would be cool but it's still a 80's motor ya know!

Is the original 235 in good running shape? I might be looking for a 235 for a shop truck

A DOHC engine in a traditional Kustom is blasphemy IMO. Theres nothing that turns me off more to see modern shit in a tradition looking Hot Rod/Kustom. Keep the modern BS away from the older cars, they have lasted this long without it. One of these is on my list of cars to own one day. A '54 Chevy done right is absolutely beautiful.
'57 Packard tails on this one.
A nice 2 door post like yours.

^^^^ +1 such a nice car like that should be left alone with all the original equipment. I wouldn't touch a damn thing but making it run and drive good with what it has.

Nice! What year is it? My uncle just bought a '49 Ford coupe a few months ago and he already has tore it apart.
