I have a 2004 Mach 1 and would like to know would a catted X pipe or O/R X pipe sound better on Borla Stingers exhaust. What are your thoughts and what brands are the better ones?

Bassani, pypes, upr, mac, bbk, slp and magnaflow are all GREAT choices for your mach..I would go with an off road x pipe all day,Catted is just to quite on a 32v not to mention the cats they put in the Catted x pipes are junk after about a year... [ 2013-09-05, 12:03 AM: Message edited by: SIC9250 ]

Here you go! That catback on any o/r x pipe sounds great on a 32v! Go off road x and never look back! Keep the stock mid pipe for the smog nazi's

From the beginning I thought I was 100% sure about getting the Bassani O/R. Now that I've heard some others I'm trying to decide between Bassani, SLP or BBK. All 3 of those sound really good!

With resonator mufflers like the borla stingers or slp's or race bullets x pipes don't change the sound at all,the mufflers too free flowing and messy for someone to tell a difference lets be honest it's just a buncha loud coming out the pypes anyway lol,not to mention modulars and foxes CAN'T be compared in anyway when it comes to exhaust...when you got some chambered flowmasters and swap x pipes yes you will be able to tell a difference,it's a chambered muffler not a resonator style muffler...I've pretty much heard, installed, owned every freakin exhaust setup you can imagine on a modular I think I kno a little bit on the subject ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

On my old gt I had the upr x pipe o/r and custom catback with flows and it sounds badass. I got a lot of compliments. I notice that xpipes is the way to go with this high rev engines
