Anyone here goes deer hunting? We're can infer my hunting license? And what area are good to hunt for deer?

deer hunting sucks if your not a millionare, i went when i was 16 and 21 both times a sat there for hours and only seen ants crawling. it was up towards shads ranch

Lots of good spots north of the Bay Area. You have to pick an area and scout it out. Generally the further you get away from roads the better on public land. Private land can have deer all over it.

I've hunted d5 for years, it helps if you know land owners. But there are plenty of public areas, it can be crowded with lots of valley and bay area coming up on weekends. Don't expect a trophy, but there some decent bucks. It would be better if everyone would stop taking just barely legal bucks. [ 2013-08-06, 02:52 PM: Message edited by: sinisterblk ]
