I Have a new edge Saleen with the authentic 18X9s on it (non staggered). I am wondering what the biggest tire I can fit without bulging to the extreme. Specifically the Toyo R888s & Bfg KDW's (open to others). I would like to stay with the current set I have as they are authentic & only way to upgrade would be to Replicas. I personally don't mind replicas bla bla bla however I think it will look silly with 2 real saleens up front with 2 replicas out back (I don't see myself buying a full set of the same wheels). please let me know & if you have any pics please post.
thanks cafords

275/35/18 or 285/35/18 fit best, i was running 285's on 18x9 with no bulge.

These are 285/35/18s on a 18x10 rears. They fit nice on a 10 inch rear so on a 9 inch there will be a slight bulge. Also depends on brand of tire

Damn that's a simple N clean SN95!
275 would be the widest I'd go on a 9" rim. [ 2013-07-18, 10:18 PM: Message edited by: NEIGHT ]

I thought 265 was biggest you could go on a 9 wide wheel!

no not true. In theory u could run a 315 center section tire on a 9 inch wide rim but it would bulge significantly. ive seen it done, dont recommend it tho.

295 is the widest you can go. My 98 Roush rims in the back are 18x9 and they came with 295 from the factory.
