HCI 302 + s-trim (10-12lbs) = 450 range.

Stock longblock, a good intake, you'll need some good fuel upgrades and swoop on a On3 kit.

And it could be you didn't mention your budget or what you consider cheap!

Thanks yea I'm looking at on 3's right now just wondering how much boost to run? How much can the stock 302 handle as in hp ratings?

Stock block ~500 rwhp N that's pushing it. Good H/C/I with stock bottom end I'd say around 12-15 PSI would get you to 500

Need something like this but with smaller headers and smaller crossover, and it will take you farther than your stock block can handle
