I am good folks.... Glad to see the familiar faces still here keeping it lit.
As for Canelo v Floyd... I actually think this is the first time in a long time I think we can see floyd on the canvas. This kid is strong, and will naturally be the bigger fighter. The fight is at 152 so Floyd is pulling a lil Manny on this one. Canelo showed a glaring weakness against Trout, which is wide punches and propensity to get hit with counter punches. But this kid has a granite chin and Floyd lacks power. And while I see Floyd out slicking this kid to a unanimous decision. I give him more than a punchers chance to make this fight interesting. I am shocked Floyd took this chance at this stage in his career.

If Floyd is gonna fight him this is the best time to do it. Canelo gets better everytime he fights. In a few years he will be the man to beat. Canelo does not have one punch K.O. power. Shane actually said that him and floyd hit about the same! Canelo's best bet is to work the body early and try for a stoppage mid rounds. otherwise Floyd is gonna coast to a Win

Canelo wont get to floyds body. He is too slow. Floyd would pick him apart all night with that strategy. He needs to try to bully and push floyd around the ring, similar to how Cotto did. And I disagree with the ko power comparison. Canelo is not Edison Miranda, and does not have 2 fist power. But that young man can kick. And he takes a punch well. If floyd tries to play the ropes, like he likes to do. He could find himself on the canvas. [ 2013-06-03, 07:33 PM: Message edited by: N8 ]

I can agree with that analysis.
I gained a lot of respect for Canelo after his last fight against Trout. Even though he did show some flaws such as poor stamina and getting tagged too often on the counters, he had a great game plan and displayed an improved defense. Trout is a really good fighter... Let's not forget how Trout dominated Cotto in New York. Cotto gave Floyd his toughest fight to date. This SHOULD indicate Canelo definitely has a legitmate chance to a victory. We shall see...

Guess I am the only who thinks Canelo has no chance at all. He is just way to slow (footwork). He has good power and hand speed but u can't hit what u can't catch.

Floyd is gonna fight him the same way as he fought the ghost LOTS of Movement. The best way to slow down a fighter that moves alot is with body punches. Not saying Canelo is gonna be able to do it but that is his best bet!.
