That's funny. The add says "look and feel of a $60,000 car". Something tells me that the seller has never been around or driven a real Gt500.

Wow. I never understood why you'd pay for a new car then add all the "professionally installed" look-alike parts, paint them, and pay for all the stuff you don't want to / can't do... Then there's the little or no gain in resale value for a "custom" ride.. Oh, then there's the difference in the engine / suspension / brakes/ diff/ transmission qulity. The cost ends up being the same as getting the real deal. I've seen used Shelby's in the $35k-45k range. This is a cost-benefit fail

Or you could buy a 01 - 03 Cobra with less than 40k miles for $20k.
What people like the Craigslist add owner do not get is people turn their heads based on the engine roar not the GT500 logo on the side.
Personally Id rather have a GT500 engine is a base V6 look. Id be hustling all those BMW and Mini cooper owners who think there rides are fast.
