I like Brad Paisley and LL Cool J, but I'm going to go with Morgan Freeman on racism: http://youtu.be/zhvi8y69YzQ [ 2013-04-10, 07:48 AM: Message edited by: DLo ]

Dumb song. LL should stick to acting and never rap again...

I don't understand why anyone wouldn't like it. Set aside it being country if you're not a country fan, and set aside that LL is in it if you're not a LL fan, and take a look at the substance. It's saying and explaining what most of us think everyday. Before, when I saw a dude with a Rebel flag, I'm automatically thinking this guy doesn't like me based solely on skin color. He put it in comparison to how minorities get judged by the way they wear their pants, or how many chains they're wearing. Put in that context, I found myself being prejudgmental based solely off a guys shirt and not being mindful of culture and heritage.
That just me, i understood the lyrics and what he's trying to say/do if he didn't communicate it well. And I thought the cause was nice, which translates to nice song.
Is it a club banger? No, But it is a social issue song.
