This is not a GM vs. Ford thread...relax lol.
Just curious about value 20 years from now. To be specific, 05-06 GTO, 03-04 Cobra and 2011-current Mustang 5.0. Take into consideration how long production lasted, availability, current value, popularity, collectibility, etc. All three are badass cars for what they are and year they came out for sure. What are your opinions? [ 2013-04-03, 04:06 PM: Message edited by: 92_5.0 ]

+1 a Goat is a FAR cry from a Termy or coyote..there up there in cost because of production numbers, the all mighty 6.0/6spd setup, and Pontiac guys had something worth bragging about for once in 40 years besides a camaro half breed lol but in all reality there just a big ass slow v8 cavalier... yeah the GTO is nothing compared to those. Pontiac gave them one nice perk before going out ( 6.0/6 speed ) but thats all. they're ugly as hell. it honestly looks like a rip off of the sn95 in a new edge era.

Ok well I think the termi's will be collectible in 20 years especially the rare combos. I'll own one someday.

the Termi's will definitely be a collector I agree. As far as the new 5.0's, I'm not too sure since there are so many being built, but who knows. The 05-06 GTO is fast and they are quality cars for what they are, I own an 06 as my daily driver and its fun, not saying its better than a Terminator...totally different worlds, I'd probabaly trade it for a Termi if I ever found one near by lol. But I think the fact that Pontiac is gone, that definitely helps their value. This thread wasn't meant to bash any cars, I'm just curious about overall value

10th anny cobras, mystic cobras, low mile non modded cobras also 5.0 boss,Laguna seca, roush an saleen Coyote's will all be collectible and worth a ton in the future..Goats won't ever keep a good value nor will be collectible in my o2 and neither will highly modded cobras or basic GT coyotes modded or stock, but a stock no miles Termy (regardless of model) will bring more cash and collectibility...

Terminators will be the next supra in value and status. 5.0's will be the next fox body in terms of being very mod friendly and popular. GTO is kind of the odd one out. While not popular, They make very good daily drivers and the interiors/seats in them are top notch. [ 2013-04-03, 07:24 PM: Message edited by: Robb ]

I think 03-04 will be more of the colllectable and cost the most out of the 3. Made only two years and a rare engine package. A lot of 5.0s comming out and still producing. Gtos share a more common motor / tranny
