when i shut off my car my fuel pump stays on. i have to disconnect the batt. every time im done driving. my car is a 93 lx 5 speed. i dont know what it could be any ideas would help thanks.

Check the relay under the seat.

A 1993 mustang does NOT have the relay under the seat. It's by the maf.

check your other connections to the fuel pump and make sure there isnt any loose wires that are grounding out somewhere.

Check the relay under the dash by the glove box

I assume this is a 93 V8 ?
ECOboostin is correct, the fuel pump relay is next to the MAF along with the A/C WOT (wide open throttle) cutoff relay.
Posssibly relay sticking, swap the two relays around next to MAF and see if problem disappears.
Both relays are the same type, this will confirm/disprove whether relay is sticking on.

I did swap the relays an now I got no fuel pump at all. Im going to assume that there bad cuz there a little moist from the rain last week. Before i got get new ones is there anything else i should check.Thanks for the help [patriot]

I swaped the relays and I got a crank no start(fuel pump didnt kick on) so I swaped em back an I got another crank no start(fuel pump didnt kick on again) bad relays?
