I love sport bikes but where I work see's a lot of bikers passing by and I can't ignore a 98" or a 103" with screaming eagles to long and I've always been a fan of the road glides front end design with the wide fairing and short visor and recessed lights. I've ridden my boys r1 a few times liked it but a big hog is where it's at. And if the time comes I want to know what to expect if and when I get one
And to Dave yes I'm all over the place with what I want to do, but that's what keeps me going forward instead of being a stagnant diseased pool of muck like you are. Im all over the place because I've got dreams and goals and my determination won't let me give up so I'm going to keep working hard doing what I do best until I no longer have to ask questions on "how do I....." or "does anyone have experience with...." I can answer questions that youngsters like me ask. I'm not planning on being retired old and ugly making fun of 20 something year old young men on the Internet and not having the balls nor the experience to contribute not one valuable thing to anyone but a mortuary. And even then you'll have the value of a new penny.

Harleys are cool man. I had a street bike and now roll a 2011road glide custom. Its waay more comfortable and gets much more respect then a streetbike. Its a grown mans motorcycle..

I love them to. Plus have you even seen and read about the new CVO production glides? Harley created there own svt aka Custom Vehicle Operations and off the bat these bikes get the 110" motor and screaming eagle intake custom wheels and day maker full led head lights along with custom 2 tone paint. I can't afford it but I would take a older road glide if the price is right and it's up my alley ya know?

If have credit and a lil money to spend, I'd get a new one. About $300-400 a month depending. Plus u get a 103" motor (2012) instead of a 96"(07-2011?) witha six speed, and if u go with either glide, u get the fat back tire.
Basically go '09 and up if u want a bagger. The 103" aint that much of a difference power wise. U can double the horsepower for the same price with whatever u choose. (about $1500). The 103" might just make a lil more torque.

Yep! I bought my 2011 new and have added Thunder header exhaust and a screaming eagle air filter along with a powere programmer. I know it will never be fast but who cares! Thats not why i bought it. Mine came stock with a 103 motor. i plan on adding wheels and bars after i finish with my Mustang next year. The color of mine is Cool Blue Pearl. look it up it is a nice color. i dont see many around like mine
