So my car is going to get painted within the next day or two and I can't decide if I should paint it the original color which is black or if I should paint it 93 cobra teal or 93 reef blue. I was thinking if I paint it its original color it might hold its value a bit more if I wanted to sell but at the same time the car is not original anymore due to mods and maybe I will get the same amount of money for it either original paint color or not, what do you guys think?
Black is a nice color but scratches and dirt is more visible and teal or reef is a nice color that will make the car stand out but maybe with the time it will annoy me, which of the 3 colors would you guys choose?

Do it the original color, it will save you alot of time and money and still look good at the same time.

Do something outside the box and stand out
Unless you're on a tight budget then same color would be a good choice.

Unless your painting all the jambs too, keep it black. If your worried about value, i wouldnt change the color for that reason. Mismatched jambs on a car make people think your covering up something besides worn out paint.

I also hate looking at a clean foxbody with a mismatched paint engine bay, door jams and trunk

Didnt read, sorry, just got the jist.
Do u have a Cobra? if No: paint it wtf u want!
Do u have a real cobra? if Yes: dont change the color!!
JMO do what makes u happy; but keep in mind... If u plan on keeping it: do whatever makes u happy, im not a millionaire - hahaha - put kandy paint! but if one day u decide to sell it, u might have to get a second job

paint color wont mean squat for value
the original color if rare will increase value later on...but it doesnt need to be that color
just as long as it's in the build
