Wasup Cafords
SO im going to be buying the 2.3 Whipple Tuner kit for my 12 GT Next Week
I already E-Mailed Drew from AED and recommended the ID1000 injectors but i wanted to know if these would benefit my setup. He just told me they where the best.
Setup:
2.3 Whipple JLT Cai 7-9 PSI . Aiming for 560 RWH
What Pulley ?
Aren't these made for cars that are going to run e85 or high boost #'s ?
Cant i just use the recommend 47 lbs injectors from ford ? OR would bigger injectors be a better option ?
Any other tips or advice is Welcomed .
Thanks Alot, -Sam

Are the #47 injectors the same as the GT500 ones?
If so, then I would say you are going to want to get bigger injectors.
I researched injectors for my build when I was looking to put down 550-600hp and everybody said 60# at least.

47# injectors will be enough to reach your HP goal but that will not leave u any room for growth! U would need to upgrade them again if u decide u want more power later, the ID1000s are the best but a little overkill for your setup and VERY heavy onthe wallet. I would go for a 60# injector or somewhere close to that!

They recommend the ID1000's because of their reliability and ease of high hp tuning. Definitely some of the best injectors out there especially for those running E85 BUT unless you are intending to use E85 down the road I doubt they are necessary for that setup. Siemens Deka 60's are a great option, Shaun isn't a fan of the 80's anymore due to recent issues with them in tuning as well as some badly mismatched flow numbers from brand new sets. Drew was running them in Sloleen when the motor blew.

I thought the new mustangs were built in such a way that you couldn't really mod them...Are you going to rebuild the motor?

ID1000's for the win! I'll be purchasing a set of ID's and a 88mm turbo this week to help speed up my bucket.
