Topic: What mustang has the roomiest back seat/leg room?

Stupid question, and I'm sure I know the answer, but what're your guys' opinions on rear legroom on a mustang? Which model/year has the roomiest back seat/legroom? I'm assuming 79-04 are all the same considering their based off the same platform, but please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

I think foxs have more room then new edge mustangs In the back but that's just my .02

also agree...cant speak for s197's or anthing before 79 but foxbodies feel roomier.

I'm 6'1" and 210lbs my 79 coupe fits me pretty good in the rear but only if my lady drives because she needs the seat up (5'2")

hands down 05 and up. drove from tx to cali and back with 3 of us backseat aint bad at all when you stretch your legs over to the other side

I vote fox. My 2012 front seats nearly touch the rear seats, and that's with the seat base slid back/seat back barely beyond 90*

I swear my fox bodies had more leg room than my SN95s, however in the headroom department it's reversed

+1, rode three deep (all 6 foot +)to and from Knotts in my 06 decently comfortable, although my vert does have more rear headroom than my cousins 06 coupe.

Id say foxbody, being that's the bottom cushion is flat and not form fitting or bucket. My ussual is her head on passenger side rear seat slightly on her side facing front seat, lift her left leg, her right leg inbetweeen your legs and pound away. When I don't care for the bitch I scoot her up so her head hits the side panel and place my leg on the tranny hump and that ussually leaves them tore up.
