Just be there...you would be surprised how many kids get surgery and their parents leave them for the nurse to take care of

Prayers sent your way.
My son had surgery when he was 8 weeks old. Kids are pretty tough and bounce back quick. Children's Hospital Oakland is an Awesome Hospital.
