Why not just take off the shifter and fill it up from up top... much easier and you wont need a pump.

oh if just begining you are , learning there is much of to do for you! shit ive been fuckin with mustangs for 13 years now, the first day of my first stang i ordered bbk springs and a c.a.i. and they got there 3-4 days later, well c.a.i. went on no prob, was feelin like hot shit.....until i went for the spring install, a day and a half later i finally went to my pops and told him i had ruined the car it was hopeless, its beyond repair! so he jumped in and walked me through and a few hours later, i was out n about lookin to race anyone!!!... anyways i know its a cool story, but my point is everything is fixable, or replaceable , and sometimes you HAVE to step away, and calm down /focus, get another opinion, then step back in! and if your still in doubt ask for help, with exception to the dickheads who dont remember what learning to modify your mustang was like, youll most likely get some solid advice/help!!oh and if you really wanna step your game up, when u know someones fuckin with thier stang see if you can watch or better yes ask to help and get dirty, hands on teaches you, quicker and better than anything, good luck with your stang! Def happens! But I learned this lesson a while ago and it helps with all makes and models, always loosen the fill plug before dropping the fluid that way if you have a stuck plug you can choose how to address the situation before your stuck with no fluid in the Trans. Sounds like you got it handled!
