Thinking of picking one up what's your thoughts on it? The one I'm looking at is brand new 4 door has leather nav 6.2l etc.

I like them a lot, damn good looking truck but wouldn't pick one up unless they fixed their little frame issue.

That's not a myth that is self inflicted damage to the truck. That's like swinging donuts and not expecting your torque boxes to be fucked up after all is said an done

I have a 2011. Best ford vehicle I have ever owned. As for the frame, dont drive it like an idiot and it will never bend. I have jumped mine and done some pretty damn high speed off roading and never had a problem. It tows great, is awesome on long trips, and is a blast to drive over all. The suspension is second to none, rides smooth on the highway, and rips it up on the dirt. Here is a little vid I made last year with mine. I have hit over 75mph on the road it was taken on a dozen times. I have 20k on mine and so far its been flawless. Good luck with your purchase and dont forget to get us some pics!

Exactly, those guys were beyond abusing their trucks and want Ford to foot the bill to fix them. You can't find one other factory stock truck that could take 1/4 of what these trucks take without folding in half.

I was thinking it was time to trade the FJ for one, but I quess I'll hold on to my Fj for now. I have been reading about this issue and some people that don't even off-road that hard are saying that they are having the same issue??
WTF is going on FORD?
