They are very comfortable cars to drive. Here's a tip for everyone looking to buy a used car. <br />Go to your local autoparts store and find out how much normal wear parts cost for that paticular car. ( brake pads, rotors, plugs, wires..) Everything said here is true, but parts are only expensive if you buy OEM, the generic stuff is much much cheaper and in some cases, better. If you do your own work, you don't have to worry about the cost of repairs too much. There's also HUGE aftermarket support for those models. A WRX is also a good option and will have a lower cost of ownership but it isn't nearly as nice overall. The A4 is also a much much cheaper car to repair.
