The 69 front is to bulky to go on a 68 and lower, looks kind of ugly

I was just wondering how this would look. The grande style coupes have an ugly rear shape but that front end on a real coupe rear would be amazing. I wonder how much custom work he did because I've got a 70 front end in the back yard and a 66 coupe coming into possession

I see what he was going for, but the wheelwell openings don't match up very well. Look at ot again, you'll see what I mean. The rear radius is rounded, whereas the 69 front is more squarish. Or at least graft/blend in a 68 fender lip.
Seems like it would have made a lot more sense to to go with a 67-68 Shelby front end: extended light housing.
