hey guys i wanted a optima but stayed away....just replaced my duralast gold after 2yrs thankfully wArrantied out but who knows any good batteries! ?

ford dealer batteries work well for me, but so do optima's....got 8 years out of 2 optima's so far, 7 years on a ford replacement in another car.

I've had optima redtop in my foxbody for already 2years. I havent had a slow start even when my car was down for 2weeks as I worked on it I listened to the radio too. So that's a bad ass battery in my opinion. I paid like $160 for it at autozone with warrenty which I forgot for how long

I run Odyssey batteries exclusively. Never had an issue, and they offer a lot of different sizes if you are trying to drop some pounds.
