i have a 03 cobra and sick of the exhaust thats on it!! i have a o/r bassani x pipe with a bassani catback with 4 inch slashed tips! still have the stock manifolds!! im tired of how quite the bassani mufflers are so im thinking of going with a MAC muffler or a magnaflow muffler! i want it to be louder than the bassani's but quiter than a borla stinger!! help me out what should i do! at this point im thinking of just swapping out mufflers cause i just had my catback POLISHED!! lmk what your thoughts are!!

My boy has bassani o/r x stock manifolds and Mac 3" catback shit sounds really good really loud

I swapped my Bassani for slp lm2 and sounds good. Quiet at idle.

I had bassani races on my cobra with the mufflers flipped, and it was pretty nasty...

Im running o/r bassani x---»magnaflow magnapacks---»3.5 magnaflow tips. Sounds super good

I've got magnaflows on mine... Had magnapaks, if youre going for loud get the magnapacks, and weld em in to your old catback....
Btw. How's that tan working for ya hahaha

its hard to explian but i want loud but not to loud!
magnapacks are out of the ? and i really want to keep my catback cause i just got it polished hella nice! so its between a magnaflow oval muffler and a mac muffler!?
what should i do!??

I don't see how your car isn't loud with an or x pipe. Every car I've heard with no cats is super loud.

I have some 40 series flowmasters i took off my 03 Cobra if you wanna try those out? 3" inlet/outlet, i'll give you a screamin deal. ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif) if you wanna hear what it sounds like look up 03SVTPOWER on youtube and watch the dyno video from behind. Thats with o/r X into 3" catback, there is also a video with magnaflows on.

Hey cory, I had the same setup as you on my cobra and loved it, then got kooks longtubes and kooks OR x pipe and it got quieter! But I do have to agree with Scott, the Borla/steeda cutback is pretty nasty. Just wanted to let u know for sound reasons only, I personally think my car got quieter and sounded worse with the LT headers!

Funny cause I've heard his and some of his boys car's, and your super loud and his loud are probably way different. His medium is hearing his shit start up from house, his loud would be shaking my house at idle. His super loud would cause death!

With all the cobras at Knotts you weren't able to find the sound you were after? I like my magnapacks but that 2200 rpm drone is annoying, my next try is going to be spin tech pro streets or corsas. As far as which one for your setup exhaust sound is just too particular and personal, but either way the stance is sweeeet with those steamrollers in back.

Oh ya! Forgot about spintech's!!!!! I had them on a 95GT and with only a O/R x pipe it is by far the loudest 5.0 I ever owned. Louder then 1 chambers, louder then bassanis, but not as loud as SLP LM1's!! I am not a fan of SLP cause to me it makes ur stang sound like a chebby!!
