What's a good slr or dlsr or even digital camera. I want to spend around 3-600. I'm just tired of the small digital cameras. Thanks

I'm extremely happy with my canon rebel xsi.
really, the glass is more important than the body. But you should just go to a fry's or best buy and play with a bunch of the demo ones, that's how I ended up choosing what I did. Feels right in my hands and all the menus are laid out in a logical way, I did not like the nikon's that I played with.

Canon t3i is pretty much the best in that range. Better vdeo than the rest or so they say. I like mine.

I have a a Nikon d3100 and love it! The results depend on your lense and how you setup your camera.

I have a Sony, it was a gift so I cannot complain has a ton of features setting and is easy to use. I have always heard good things about Nikon and the Canon cameras come out with a new model a day it seems so you can always find some for lower prices at Frys's or best Buy.

I've got a Canon digital rebel xsi and I love it. You really can't go wrong with canon.
Theres a few sites you can buy cameras "used" which are in great shape.. I bought mine that was used but it was still in "like new" condition. They even have a great warranty on them eventhough they are used..
