Sold this car a few weeks ago, has 209k on the body and #8 cylinder is going out. Unless there was work done to it that hasn't been stated.

Good spot. Glad you mentioned in case there may be a buyer on this forum. Dude hasn't disclosed any of that.

oh, so if somebody sold a car to someone with a hidden problem and then hides the same problem and sells it to someone else that's ok? hmm sounds like shady logic to me.

915.0gt, was upfront with the problems when he tried to sell me the Mustang a few weeks ago. I couldnt believe someone was trying to flip it with a bad motor.

That would be bad of course, but the ad indicates the guy isnt aware of the issues. But then again if he's selling the car this quickly maybe he is. Hard to say, right.

How can you be sure nothing is different? Would be pretty difficult to hide a cylinder being down

This was the response I got from the seller,

Me: "What's the condition of the car? Has there any work done to the car recently since you have owned it?"

Seller: "Yes. Cylinder 8 was low on compression but it was fixed, the whole top end was replaced, but the car is sold already"
