So I saw a new 5.0 today and it got me thinking. These things have a ton of HP and TQ for a GT but how do they really drive? Any owner's want to chime in. I have ridden in but never driven one. I know I thought my Cobra was something back in the day handling and power wise but now GT's have more HP and TQ. What's your 5.0 experience?

I dont have a 5.0 in a mustang but I got one in my f-150.
I think ford did a great job with this engine. Its got plenty of power, great gas mileage and that is all in a crew cab 4x4. Makes me wanna see how it is in the mustang.

Mine runs pretty good. It's the best handling and braking Mustang I've ever driven.
And its reasonably fast for a stock Mustang. Here's a quick pull against a G8 GT with full bolt ons. He ran 12.6 with this car before his recent gear swap. Fast forward to 33 seconds for the best camera angle.

That video was taken just last weekend and I've been out of town on business most of this week.
Let's set something up!
