got a 2001 mustang gt. lost compression in 3 cylinders. how much does it cost to remove the head and put it back on after I get it fixed/resurfaced. just average price or if anyones done it before, I dont have time to do it myself.

Find a used motor do the swap yourself or find a member here to do it with you for a good deal and be happy... O and go grab some headers while the motors out to save yourself money in the future

yeah that might work out better, but I know the history of this block and i won't with a used one. I'd rather be safe and freshen up the heads that way I know exactly what everything has been through. I don't know if I missed something but have you done a leak down test to confirm its just the heads? Always good to check juuust in case
